Samsonite meets Lipault
Two Roads diverged in a yellow wood
It’s not about the road not taken but rather about the kind of luggage that should accompany you during that endeavour. It’s at this moment that french designer François Lipovetsky and his company Lipault meet up with Jesse Shwayder legacy of Samsonite (by the way – it’s a really interesting story that all started in 1910 in Denver). But what’s important is the timeless design and the eye for quality material and quality finish in both companies. So i picked my favorites and i am gonna show them off because i can and you might be overwhelmed by the sheer volume on their website. As you all know black, grey, white are my colors so don’t be surprised.
On the Samsonite Side we have the INTEGRA in beige (it’s so incredibly retro that this might be the hippest bag right now and nobody knows it), the complete design line of LITE CUBE DLX (the leather finish on the handle, the silver glow…and sturdy as hell) and the PARADIVER (because it looks really cool in yellow and black)
On the Lipault Side we have the complete sexy line of PLUME PREMIUM in black (i still have to test those but they look sexy as hell) especially the backpack and the small trolley which i think would be the perfect size for a weekend trip and the PLIABLE DUFFLE in black (for a weeks getaway).
So go browse, buy and let’s meet later at baggage claim.
